Hi! My name is Deetya Gupta, and I am a third-year student from Ashburn, VA, majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Data Science on the premed track. I became a Peer Teacher because Intro Bio was one of my favorite classes at UVA, and I wanted to help create a positive, fun learning environment for other students. Outside of Peer Teaching, I’m involved in undergraduate research at the Eyo Lab and work as a medical assistant. In my free time, I enjoy reading, hiking, watching movies, and spending time with friends.
