Hi! My name is Esther Yun and I am a second year from Vienna, Virginia. I am double majoring in Data Science and Biology with plans to either work in the biotech industry or pursue a master's degree after graduation. I work in Professor Jianxin Xie’s lab in the School of Data Science, applying a physics-informed neural network to reconstruct the heart’s electrical activity from body surface measurements. I became a Peer Teacher to apply my communication skills developed through working at the Corner Starbucks to support and engage with a community of biology students. In my free time I enjoy watching K-dramas, listening to music, and eating ice cream.
