Hi! My name is Rachel Woods, and I’m a third-year premed student majoring in Biology with a minor in Psychology. I became a Peer Teacher to share my enthusiasm for biology and help others enjoy the subject as much as I do. My goal is to create a welcoming and supportive space where students feel comfortable asking questions and seeking guidance. Outside of the classroom, I’m a research assistant in the Ribic Lab and serve on the board of the Kidney Disease Screening and Awareness Program at UVA. In my free time, I enjoy playing pickleball and the violin.
