Hi! My name is Clay Grisius, and I'm a second year Echols Scholar from Loudoun County, Virginia. I'm currently majoring in biology with a minor in Spanish. After college, I hope to pursue graduate studies with hopes to combine research, teaching, and patient care. I'm also an undergraduate researcher in the Isakson Lab of the Cardiovascular Research Center at the UVA School of Medicine. I'm most involved on a project evaluating cardiac lymphatics in heart failure. I was drawn to Peer Teach to help other students make connections between introductory biology and any of their fields of interest. Outside of the classroom, you can find me skiing, accompanying FYP musicals on the piano, or trying out places to eat with my friends!
