Hi! My name is Aishani Patnaik, and I am majoring in Cognitive Science with a concentration in neuroscience and minoring in Data Science. I plan to apply to medical school after graduation, following a gap year. At UVA, I stay involved through Remote Area Medical, Madison House Medical Services, and Chak De C’ville, our fusion dance competition team. I also work at UVA Employee Health and conduct research in the MIC Department at the UVA School of Medicine. Outside of the classroom, I love exploring new places, experimenting with new recipes, and playing card games with friends. I wanted to become a Peer Teacher because I genuinely enjoy helping others, and I’m excited to work closely with students and support them in reaching new levels of understanding.
