I’m a biology major with the hopes of becoming a surgeon in the future. To take my mind off school, something I’ll be doing a lot of in the coming years, I usually hang out with my friends, listen to music, do something active outside, or go on a drive. I also enjoy going to the gym and playing almost any sport, except soccer and hockey. I wanted to be a Peer Teacher because I genuinely love teaching people, hoping to be a teacher some day after my medical career. Whether it be answering conceptual questions, seeing the look on students’ faces as I explained experimental techniques they’ve never seen before, or giving advice for things outside of lab and school, I can confidently say that I loved every aspect of being a Peer Teacher and will cherish the experience in the years to come.
