More than 300 Brain Scientists, Researchers Gathering at Next Week's UVA Brain Symposium

More than 250 University of Virginia faculty members study brain development and decline under the umbrella of the UVA Brain Institute. At next week's UVA Brain Symposium (March 21-23), they will host hundreds of colleagues for three days of research talks and networking opportunities in the new Contemplative Commons buildings. Scheduled speakers from the Department of Biology include Barry Condron, George Bloom and UVA Brain Institute co-director Sarah Kucenas.
