This year’s food drive is just around the corner! We'll be collecting donations from November 4 through December 3. On December 4, they’ll come by to pick up and count donations, and the winner will be announced by December 5. Let’s aim for that top spot! Click here for FOOD DRIVE poster.
Here’s what to keep in mind:
- All items must be non-perishable (no fresh or frozen food).
- NO GLASS CONTAINERS — they can break easily.
- Check expiration dates: items must be good until at least January 2025.
- No medications (Tylenol, Dayquil, etc.).
- Only items from you! Please don’t collect from neighbors or community groups.
- Only eligible items will count toward our total.
- Multipacks count as one item, except for multipacks of canned goods (each can counts separately).
We have 18 days to make this count! If you don’t have time to shop, Mary and I can handle that for you. Just drop by the office with your cash, and we’ll make sure it’s put to good use.
Our competition: Astronomy, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Math, and Physics. Let’s not let them outdo us!
What to Donate:
- Yes: canned meats, beans, veggies, boxed goods, peanut butter, pasta, rice, baby supplies (diapers, formula), dental supplies (toothbrushes, toothpaste), personal hygiene items (soap, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, tampons, pads).
