Biography

I am a VA graduate with BAs in Mathematics and History. I became a contractor after college and around 40 decided I was getting too old for crawl spaces and attics and decided to move to Finance.  I went back to school part time, qualified to take and then passed all the CPA exams. Since then, I have been tutoring Accounting and did project management for AI companies working on data collection projects.  A little over a year ago I decided I wanted to quit being a contractor for good and get into a field closer to by professional training and returned to UVA this time as an employee working in finance. 

In my spare time I like board games and poker.  Of late I have been plying more Terraforming Mars than anything else. 

I love my e-bike, and enjoy taking my kayak out on the reservoir to sneak up on wildlife.
