We know that the recent changes in the federal government have caused a lot of uncertainty, especially about how the department will be affected by funding cuts. The GSPA will be holding a town hall with Department Chair Doug Taylor and DGS Alan Bergland to discuss the situation and answer questions on Wednesday, April 16 from 2-3 pm in Gilmer 484. We welcome all department members (faculty, staff, grad students, postdocs) to attend. We see this as a low-stakes way to come together as a community and share information.

Half of the time will be questions moderated with the GSPA, and the other half will be open questions. You may submit questions anonymously using this form. We hope to see you there!
