Hi! My name is Ashley Velloso and I am from Trumbull, Connecticut. I am a third year majoring in Statistics and minoring in Spanish. I like being a peer teacher because I enjoy helping other students and supporting them through the challenging parts of this course. I am also a laboratory assistant at the Human Dynamics Laboratory here at UVA and I hope to pursue a career in data science in the future. In my free time, I like to travel (I studied abroad last summer in Valencia, Spain!), spend time with my roommates, and watch movies!
