Congrats to Shagufta Alam and colleagues of the Keck Center for Cellular Imaging. They have published in Molecular Medicine that two-photon fluorescence-lifetime imaging of the NAD(P)H/FAD redox pair (2P-FLIRR) distinguished tumor from normal prostate in unstained frozen patient tissue, supporting it as a label-free metabolic biomarker for prostate cancer diagnosis.
