Using a scalable method for fabricating solid drug nanoparticles (SDNs), SDNs in fixed combination of the hydrophobic antiglaucoma drugs brimonidine (BM) and betaxolol (BX) were consistently produced. These SDNs demonstrated enhanced ocular permeation and sustained intraocular pressure reduction, indicating their effectiveness for glaucoma therapy.
