Matthew Kustra (’18) receives NSF Graduate Research Fellowship

Congratulations to Biology major Matthew Kustra (’18) for winning a Graduate Research Fellowship from the National Science Foundation! Matt, a member of the Cox lab, is conducting his Distinguished Majors Program research on the effects of fine-scale variation in population density and sex ratio on reproductive allocation and fitness in a wild population of Anolis lizards. His NSF award, titled “Genetic variation and costs of adaptive plasticity in reproductive traits”, will support his future graduate studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
