The Neuroscience Honor Society at UVA organized a STEM outreach trip for Peabody middle school students, teachers, and parents on March 17th, 2023. The event involved the participation of over 20 undergraduate students who prepared presentations on brains and neurons and organized hands-on sheep brain dissections. Special thanks to the Liu lab, Cang lab, and Campbell lab in Gilmer Hall who conducted neuroscience lab tours, and the UVA Parents Program who generously supported the event. The Peabody students also received PFN t-shirts sponsored by the Program in Fundamental Neuroscience at UVA.
