Undergraduate Teaching Assistants (UTAs) & Peer Teachers Needed for Fall Semester

The Department of Biology is looking for motivated and enthusiastic students to be undergraduate teaching assistants (UTAs) and peer teachers for biology courses in Fall 2026. UTAs play a pivotal role in supporting student learning. Responsibilities may include holding office hours, assisting in lecture or lab, and helping with grading and/or course development; for more information on the responsibilities in specific courses, please contact the instructor. These are paid positions of 3-10 hours per week; UTAs are paid hourly, while peer teachers receive a fixed stipend. Students must have received a B+ or higher in the course they are applying to teach. More information is available on the application forms.
