Arman Ahmadiyar

My name is Arman Ahmadiyar and I am a 3rd year cognitive science major with a concentration in linguistics. I became a peer teacher because Dr. Manson’s class turned my understanding on biology on its head. I think a large part of that came from the lab activities. Simple activities such as observing plants had a lot of meaning in lab because we were tying it to evolution and ecology. Nowadays I think it is fun to be able to identify how evolution changes a particular species. I want other students to get as excited about evolution and ecology as I am, so I thought becoming a peer teacher would be my best choice. In the future, I would like to pursue a DDS and become a private practitioner.
