My name is Ryan Franks and I am from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I am a biology major and I also minor in entrepreneurship through the Comm School. My career goal is to go to dental school and potentially go on to become an oral surgeon. Outside of the classroom, I am involved with our Pre-Dental Society club, I have volunteered through Madison House and the Global Medical Brigades, and I am a part of Greek Life. There are many reasons I wanted to become a peer teacher. I genuinely enjoy helping out younger students and easing their transition to college academics. It is gratifying assisting the professor and graduate TA in instructing the class and acting as a resource for students who want to get a peer's perspective or advice.
