Wakako Endo

Hello! My name is Wakako, and I am a third year from Rockville, Maryland. I am majoring in Biology with a minor in Japanese. After graduating here at UVA, I hope to go to medical school and become a physician scientist in pediatrics. As a peer teacher, I hope to be able to support my peers and encourage confidence as they learn different lab procedures that they might use in the future. Outside of peer teaching, I research how cells migrate during embryo development in the DeSimone lab, and I've grown to love research(both the ups and downs). I am also a committee chair in JSA and HSS. In my free time I enjoy binge watching tv shows/dramas, playing video games, and running outside, especially in the fall.
