The Department of Biology’s Mountain Lake Biological Station (MLBS) was featured in this week’s UVA Today, specifically for its dedication to social behaviors of species, changes to the natural environment, and understanding evolution. Located in southwest Virginia, MLBS is host to various researchers and students from across the country. The station also boasts cabins, small apartments, a dining hall, laboratories, and other intriguing attributes.
