Maria Ali, a graduate student in the Kucenas lab, has won the Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (NRSA) Individual Predoctoral Fellowship (Parent F31). The purpose of this grant is " to enable promising predoctoral students to obtain individualized, mentored research training from outstanding faculty sponsors while conducting dissertation research in scientific health-related fields relevant to the missions of the participating NIH Institutes and Centers".This fellowship provides for two years of funding for Maria and her project. Congratulations, Maria!
