James Cole Wins Travel Award

James Cole, a 4th-year NGP graduate student in Xiaorong Liu's lab, has won a travel award to present a poster at the ISER/BrightFocus Glaucoma Symposium, October 6-9 at the Emory Conference Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Based on his abstract, Long-Term Protection of Retina and Visual Function Using MEK Inhibitor PD0325901 in a Small-Eye Pax6 Mouse Model of Aniridia, the poster will be presented for viewing over the course of the 3 days of the meeting, including a dedicated 2½-hour block on Thursday, October 7th.  Additionally, a cash prize will be awarded to the top oral and poster presentations. Congratulations, James!
