MAY 2015 BIOLOGY DIPLOMA CEREMONY
Summer 2014, Fall 2014 & Spring 2015 Biology Degree Candidates:
The Biology Department Diploma Ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2015, 4:00pm, at the Aquatic & Fitness Center (AFC), located at 450 Whitehead Rd. Please see below for general information about the Biology Diploma Ceremony (including number of guests).
- Guests and Tickets -
Each graduating student is allotted up to 4 tickets for guests. It is the responsibility of the graduating student to pick up their allotted tickets at the Biology Main Office in Gilmer Hall Room 229 around late April, early May (official date to be determined). Biology Main Office hours are 9:00-4:00PM, Monday-Friday. Tickets will only be available to graduating students who have completed the Biology Exit Survey and RSVP'ed “yes” to the Biology Diploma Ceremony once it has been implemented. Guests without tickets will not be permitted to enter the Aquatic Fitness Center for the Biology ceremony. Ushers and security will be stationed at the ceremony entrance to collect tickets and monitor attendance. Guests will be allowed to enter Aquatic Fitness Center no earlier than 45 minutes prior to ceremony start time, regardless of weather. All unclaimed tickets will be released on a first come, first served basis to students requesting additional tickets. Students who are not on campus should contact Myron Ballard to make arrangements for receiving their tickets. (Click for the RSVP Form) here
- Photography -
The Biology Department will arrange for a professional photographer to take pictures during the ceremony. Commencement photographs will be taken of each graduate as they receive their diploma and are individually congratulated. Friends and family may also take photographs within designated areas only. Information about ordering or taking photographs will be included in the graduate pamphlet on the day of the ceremony.

Parking for the Biology Diploma Ceremony is around Scott Stadium, Aquatic Fitness Center, and the Physical and Life Sciences Building.
