Summer 2018, Fall 2018 & Spring 2019 Biology Degree Candidates:

Congratulations on your degree completion!

The Biology Department Diploma Ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 18th, 2019, 4:00pm, at the Aquatic & Fitness Center.  Please see below for general information about the ceremony (including number of guests).

- Guests and Tickets -

Each graduating student is allotted up to 5 tickets for guests. It is the responsibility of the graduating student to pick up their allotted tickets at the Biology Main Office in Gilmer Hall Room 229 between Monday, April 22rd and Friday, May 3rd. Biology Main Office hours are 9:00AM-4:00PM, Monday-Friday. Tickets are only available to graduating students who have completed the Biology Exit Survey and who bring their confirmation email to the office. Students who do not pick up their tickets by May 3rd at 4:00pm will forfeit their tickets.

Guests without tickets will not be permitted to enter the Aquatic Fitness Center for the Biology ceremony. All unclaimed tickets will be released on a first come, first served basis to students requesting additional tickets beginning on Monday, May 6th.. No additional tickets will be available prior to that date. Students who are not on campus should contact Megan Champion via email to make arrangements for receiving their tickets.

- Photography -

The Biology Department will arrange for a professional photographer to take pictures during the ceremony. Commencement photographs will be taken of each graduate as they receive their diploma and are individually congratulated. Friends and family may also take photographs within designated areas only. Information about ordering or taking photographs will be included in the graduate pamphlet on the day of the ceremony.

Parking for the Biology Diploma Ceremony is around Scott Stadium, Aquatic Fitness Center, and the Physical and Life Sciences Building.
