UVA Biology People Elizabeth Gregorio

Liz Gregorio

My name is Liz Gregorio, and I am a third year majoring in Biology and minoring in English. Aside from peer teaching, I am president of UYoga and a general member of the Pre-Veterinary Society and the University Salsa Club. I took this course during my first year at the University and found the lab to essential to developing an appreciation for the diverse biological mechanisms and systems that would cultivate my desire to pursue the subject matter. This lab provided great exposure to key concepts while cultivating a hands-on experience that was incredibly helpful later on in my time at UVa. As a student interested in research, this course inspired me to pursue a position as a research assistant in the Cox lab, examining many of the topics first introduced in the course.
