My name is Hardwynn Tunacao and I am a third year from Woodbridge, Virginia.  I am currently majoring in Biology.  My interests lie in the field of medicine, thus after I graduate I hope to attend medical school. I wanted to become a peer teacher because I enjoy helping my peers through difficulties they may encounter during lab.  I too have experienced these fears and anxieties as I have been through this lab as well.  It feels satisfying guiding the students through the technical aspects of the lab or reinforcing the instructions the TA has said.  As the heart of the class, the Peer Teacher serves as a bridge between the TA and the students and I love the aspect of helping the students learn in a comfortable environment.
