I'm a Second Year from Oakton, VA, with an intended major in Neuroscience and a minor in Mathematics. After graduating in 2019, I intend on applying to medical school to further my education and love in science. When I took BIOL 2100 last year, my peer teacher was very helpful in demonstrating and explaining some of the complicated lab procedures. I realized the value of being a peer teacher, and I wanted to help incoming students with lab techniques as well as connect lab work appropriately with the lecture. It's been very rewarding to be a part of the Peer Teaching System and give back to the Biology Department.
