My name is Ela Mussie and I am third year from Fairfax, VA. I am a Biology major and I am currently on the premed track. I have loved getting to know my TA and lab partners and could not wait for the opportunity to be a peer teacher.  I wanted to be a peer teacher because when I took 2010, I found that lab can sometimes be stressful and confusing, and my peer teacher was very helpful. My favorite part of peer teaching is meeting peers of all years and helping them feel more comfortable in lab. This has been such a great opportunity for me that I have continued this role for two years. I hope to continue during my last year at UVA!
