I am a second year student from Great Falls, VA planning on majoring in Biology and pursuing the pre-med track. In addition to peer teaching, I spend a lot of time as a student researcher in the U.Va. Molecular Physiology and Biological Physics Department. When I think of the thing that I admire most about the Biology courses I took in my first year, it was the Biology Department's dedication to helping students develop a thorough hands-on experience and understanding of subjects. My wonderful peer teachers made learning material easier and more interesting, and I hope to be as valuable of a source to students as they were for me!
