Vishal Anjutgi

My name is Vishal Anjutgi and I am a second year from Long Valley, NJ planning to major in Biology and Economics. After graduating I hope to attend medical school. My other involvements on Grounds include writing for the Virginia Journal of Bioethics, serving as a peer advisor through ULINK, and volunteering with Madison House. I wanted to become a peer teacher because I really enjoy helping my peers understand any conceptual difficulties they may encounter in lab; it is very rewarding to see someone's face light up as they begin to comprehend a once daunting topic. I also believe the Peer Teacher's role of serving as a bridge between the students and the instructor is a very important one because it allows students to learn in a more comfortable, informal setting.
