This summer, Rachana Bhave successfully defended their PhD Thesis on "Disentangling contributions of pre- and post-copulatory processes to male fitness in a wild population of Anolis sagrei." Rachana is currently working as an Equitable Assessment Specialist at the Center for Teaching and Learning in University of Colorado, Boulder. Congratulations, Rachana!

Congratulations to Roberta Onoharigho from the Cambell Lab who was awarded the Trainee Professional Development Award from the Society for Neuroscience!

Congratulations to Theresa Gibney from the Pani lab who was awarded a F31 Predoctoral Fellowship from the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development!

GSPA is thrilled to introduce this year's Buddy Program. This initiative aims to pair incoming graduate students with current graduate students and facilitate connections between 4th and 5th-year graduate students and postdocs. Please fill out this form by October 13th if you are interested in being part of the buddy program. For questions, email Maira or Daniel.

GSPA is still selling Bio T-shirts! See the link for the design. The number of shirts we have is limited; we are selling them on a first-come, first-served basis, and also based on the attached form. Payment is required on the day you pick up the shirt. All proceeds go to the GSPA Research/Travel fund. To purchase a shirt message Juliana Jiranek. Thank you!
