Evan Brown Wins NIG-JOINT Collaboration Grant

Evan Brown, a graduate student in the Kucenas lab, has been awarded an NIG-JOINT Collaboration Grant. The purpose of this grant is to foster collaborative research opportunities between Japan's National Institute of Genetics (NIG) and universities or other institutes. This grant provides travel and research expenses for Evan to work with Dr. Koichi Kawakami in Mishima, Japan where he will be screening zebrafish lines to further his studies on satellite glia and their contribution to pain.
