Congratulations to Dr. Butch Brodie, who was named the 2017 Edward O. Wilson Naturalist Award winner by the American Society of Naturalists.
Since 1988, the award has recognized individuals in the areas of ecology and evolutionary biology. These areas include the study of biodiversity, biophilia, and social insects. Named after Harvard University’s E.O. Wilson, each recipient of the award has been an “active investigator in mid-career who has made significant contributions to the knowledge of a particular ecosystem or group of organisms.” For the full article on Dr. Brodie’s award, please click here.
